Carl Gustav Jung (1875–1961) — Swiss psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, and founder of analytical psychology.
"The soul demands your folly; not your wisdom."
Jung broke from Freud to explore the spiritual dimensions of the psyche. He gave us the concepts of archetypes, the collective unconscious, the Shadow, and synchronicity — meaningful coincidences that reveal the hidden connections between mind and matter.
The Red Book
His Red Book, a private journal of visions and active imagination, remained unpublished until 2009. It reads like a medieval illuminated manuscript from the unconscious itself.
